A&P Licensing Steps

Obtain letters of experience from your employers. To see example letter of experience click here. Minimum 30 months experience per FAR 65 for both ratings or 18 months for one rating.

E-mail experience documents along with a completed FAA Form 8610-2 toregistrar@amtschool.com Upon  approval of the documents by the school, register for the course by completing your course deposit.  

Complete the student registration form e-mailed by our registrar. Return the form to the registrar registrar@amtschool.com The registrar we will send you the FAA A&P Study Package / active for 24 calendar months.  

FAA Oral & Practical appointment. We recommend contacting the registrar rgistrar@amtschool.com two (2) months prior to class to schedule your FAA Ora & Practical appointment. The Oral & Practical appointment scheduling fee is $200. 

Arrive at AMT School for the FAA A&P Course. On the first day, pay your balances. Meet with AMT School staff member for final review of your original experience documents. Complete your FAA interview.
